Warner Bros. and MGM are currently looking at a number of actresses, including Star Wars’ Daisy Ridley, for the role of Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider movie reboot, reports Deadline.
Conversations with Ridley are said to have taken place, but no official negotiations or formal offer have been made, with producers believed to be keeping their options open.
The movie reboot is thought to follow a similar angle to the recent video games, tracing Lara’s origins and her journey to become a tomb raider.
Ridley is currently shooting Star Wars: Episode VIII.
