The Spider-Man movie reboot starring Tom Holland as the young Peter Parker will now hit cinemas on July 7, 2017, three weeks earlier than its originally announced July 28 date.
Marisa Tomei will also star as Parker’s Aunt May.
Earlier rumours indicated that shooting had been delayed by around a month to allow more time to polish up the script.
The July 7 date had been held by Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, but this will now set sail on May 26, 2017.
