Today the artificial intelligence-dedicated arm of Sony, Sony AI teased the reveal of its “gaming flagship,” and it’s likely about Gran Turismo 7.
The tease made on the company’s official Twitter account, mentions a collaboration with Gran Turismo developer Polyphony Digital, and with the seventh numbered chapter of the franchise coming soon, it’s likely safe to assume that it’ll be featured in the game.
The reveal will be on Wednesday, February 9.

The video includes the mention of “racing together” and shows some of the champions from the Gran Turismo Sport competitive scene.
While at the moment this is simply my speculation, the project might involve programming the AI drivers in GT7 to race following these champions’ style.
We’ll have to wait for the official announcement and see what it is.
Sony AI is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony established in 2020 to “accelerate the fundamental research and development of AI and enhance human imagination and creativity, particularly in the realm of entertainment.”
