While it is heady to think that we will be getting a third Sonic the Hedgehog movie, the second one is still on course for its April 8 release. Just to keep fans hyped for the upcoming film, the official Twitter account of the movie has released a brand new poster that shows off the key characters for Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
On one hand, we have both our hero Sonic, as well as his trusty sidekick Tails. And on the other, we see Dr Robotnik being joined by none other than Knuckles the echidna.
Fans are definitely going to be happy to see both Ben Schwartz and Jim Carrey return as Sonic the Hedgehog and Dr Robotnik respectively, but it is even more likely that Idris Elba’s Knuckles is the biggest draw in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Colleen O’Shaughnessey’s role as Miles “Tails” Prower is also worth looking out for.
