Skullgirls 2nd Encore is making its way to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One this spring, Skybound Games has announced.
The hand-drawn fighting game will be released digitally for both formats, although there’s a limited edition physical edition for Switch that Skybound is flogging via its online store. This will include the game on cartridge, a controller skin, and 12-inch vinyl record featuring Skullgirl’s soundtrack.
Skullgirls was originally released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 way back in 2012, although it was ported to PS4 and PS Vita under the 2nd Encore moniker a couple of years back.
It’s this version of the game that will be hitting Switch and Xbox One, complete with 14 characters, a full-blown story mode, Challenges, Trials, and more.
