Shadow of the Tomb Raider publisher Square Enix has pumped out another gameplay showcase for the upcoming action-adventure sequel, detailing the puzzle-heavy Challenge Tombs that await budding trinket-pinchers.

Challenge Tombs were one of the biggest highlights of Lara Croft’s rebooted adventures, offering condensed, platform-heavy segments that will required you to put your Thinking Caps on.

From the look of things we can expect the same sort of thing with Shadow of the Tomb Raider, with Lara fiddling with switches, manipulating platforms, and spinning wheels to solve a variety of brain-teasing conundrums to nab the sparkly prize at the end of the tomb.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is making a running-jump into stores on September 14 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.

Eidos Montreal has confirmed that the upcoming action-adventure title will include a New Game Plus mode, as well as the chance to tweak the difficulty for combat, puzzles, and traversal.
