I’m genuinely quite shocked that Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash didn’t support PlayStation VR from launch. The PS4 exclusive was released worldwide on September 26, but those in Japan have been deprived of turning the creep up to 11 since its March launch over there.
Either way, Kotaku notes that a recent update to the game allows players to access two new modes via the Dressing Room / Showers option on the menu: VR Character Viewer and VR Diorama.
So now, rather than just ogle cartoon characters on your TV, you get to look at cartoon characters in virtual reality. However, lean in too close and you’ll be told you’ve gone out of the play area, which happened to this Twitter user.
Twitter’s built-in translator, which goes through Bing so it mightn’t be entirely accurate, yo-yu is saying ‘There is only sorrow.’ And when it comes to this patch, I think those words are quite apt, really.

Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is out now on PlayStation 4, and I played it for far too long a few weeks ago. The memory burns.
