Sega has announced 10 more classic titles for its mini console.
On the off chance you had no idea there was a mini console in the works, well there is one and it’s coming later this year. The Mega Drive Mini is set for release on September 19 and Sega has revealed 10 more of the games which will be available from the total 40.
The Japanese developers unveiled the Mega Drive Mini last month and reported that it will house 40 16-bit classic titles for lovers of old-school gaming (basically everybody). M2, the team in charge of the Sega Ages series is also responsible for this project while Streets of Rage composer Yuzo Koshiro will take charge of menu music.
Sega initially revealed 10 games for the console but unveiled another 10 on Thursday including: Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse, World of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, Thunder Force 3, Super Fantasy Zone, Shinobi 3, Streets of Rage 2, Earthworm Jim, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Contra: Hard Corps, and Landstalker.
Below are all 20 of the games announced for Sega’s mini console so far:

The Mega Drive Mini will look exactly like the Model 1 but will be 55 percent smaller. It will cost $79.99 when it hits the market on September 19.
The console, which comes with 40 games and four slots for each, also comes with two replica three-button USB Mega Drive controllers, an HDMI cable and a USB to Micro-B power cable. The American version will also have a power adapter.
Sony and Nintendo have also released similar mini, classic consoles in the recent past and Sega is now following suit after being out of the console manufacturing business since the Dreamcast.
