A NeoGAF user has leaked what is claimed to be Microsoft’s entire E3 press conference schedule, and it’s a lot of information to process (via Game Rant). Splitting the list into what’s going to happen, what has a high chance of taking place, and what may be discussed, the post is incredibly detailed. While we won’t know its legitimacy for sure until E3 takes place in June, the alleged schedule certainly contains a large amount of very specific details.
The post was made a by a user who goes by the name of Braldryr. He claims to “know people,” which has allowed him to access the information. After a disclaimer about information changing, he went on to detail the media briefing. The section about what is going to happen contains some news we already knew, alongside a few surprises. Here’s what we can allegedly expect.
The leaked Gears 5 September release date is expected to be confirmed and should see a full gameplay reveal and demo. We’ll also see more information and a release date for Gear Tactics.
He also tells us to look out for trailers for The Outer Worlds, Cyberpunk 2077, and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, as well as a Halo Infinite trailer and information dump. Alongside this, we should also see gameplay for Age of Empires IV and Battletoads and we’ll find out more details about Bleeding Edge, Sea of Thieves, and Fable.
Other news in this section includes a Project xCloud update, with information expected about public test dates and rollouts. There is also said to be more details about the Xbox Lockhart/Xbox Anaconda, with baseline specs explained before a full reveal next year.
Other high profile reveals, which have been filed under “high chance of happening,” are a MechAssault/Mech game, the next Forza title, and Capcom’s next big title, of which no more details were specified.
There is also a small possibility of a next-gen rare IP reveal, said to be similar to Sea of Thieves, and a Perfect Dark reboot.
The post goes on to list rumors about three studios that are said to have been approached with regards to expanding the Xbox Game Studios.
We’ll find out if the leak is legitimate when E3 takes place next month.
