Steam payments to Ukrainian developers have been suspended, though Valve has confirmed this is for technical reasons. “Due to the current environment, we are unable to send bank payments to Belarus, Russia and Ukraine,” reads an email sent by Valve to developers affected two weeks ago. Rock Band developer Harmonix has been acquired by Fortnite creator Epic Games, the two companies have announced. Yesterday, Rocket League developer Psyonix announced that the game will roll out an alternative approach for its loot crates later this year, removing random chance to show what items the purchase will unlock in advance. In a post on the Rocket League site, Psyonix stated that ‘all paid, randomized Crates’ will be removed from the game later this year, swapping them with ‘a system that shows the exact items you’re buying in advance....
