Square Enix officially unveiled its Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 over the weekend. This collection is set to release digitally in the spring, and consists of Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy 2, Final Fantasy 3, Final Fantasy 4, Final Fantasy 5, and Final Fantasy 6. Each game is said to boast “vivid 2D pixel graphics and the beautifully rearranged soundtrack”. Square Enix states each of these remasters, which can be bought as a one stop bundle with all six games or individually, will offer improved gameplay, a “modernised UI” and other accoutrements such as “a bestiary, illustration gallery and music player”....

Today Cloud Imperium Games released another video showcasing a new vehicle coming to its growing space game Star Citizen. The new vehicle is made by Drake and it’s named the “Mule.” It’s petty much what you expect, a space truck with six wheels for good measure. Players will actually be able to drive it soon enough, as the Mule will make its playable debut at this year’s Invictus Launch Week on May 28....

As recent hits like The Mandalorian have demonstrated, the Star Wars universe is incredibly expansive. When creating Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, developer Respawn Entertainment added several old pieces of lore back to the official Star Wars canon. However, the game’s director, Stig Asmussen, recently revealed that podracing was one of the franchise’s past elements that did not make it into the final game. If some people may have forgotten about Atomic Heart, we wouldn’t blame them. Initially announced in 2018, the Russian-developed sci-fi title was pretty much swept under the rug. Most people forgot about the game as it was quietly undergoing development. Unfortunately, rumors and various accusations started to appear online that tarnished the game’s and Mundfish’s (the development studio) reputation, though the company refuted the claims in statements. Fast forward to today, and it seems that Atomic Heart is still alive and kicking, albeit still in development....
