We have to admit we found this pretty hilarious: streamer AJ Lester managed to go viral over the weekend after broadcasting a stream of the most recent UFC PPV event. That’s the entire UFC 218 broadcast. How did he attempt to get around this flagrant disregard of Twitch’s (and the UFC’s) restrictions on broadcasting copyright material? By pretending he was playing EA Sports UFC 3. In the tweet that went viral, which you can see below, Lester holds a controller while broadcasting the actual footage, pressing buttons roughly in time with the action on screen and occasionally commenting upon the action as if he was controlling the fighters....

[Update – December 8 @ 20:05]: Following the leak, Capcom confirmed during The Game Awards 2022 that Street Fighter 6 has a release date for June 2, 2023. The accompanying trailer showed off more characters coming to the fighter next year. The original story is as follows. Ever since Red Dead Redemption 2 launched last year, rumors have been swirling about the next project from Rockstar Games. Rockstar itself hasn’t made any announcements, but reports have pointed to Rockstar’s next game being either Bully 2 or Grand Theft Auto 6. Salt and Sacrifice is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC next year. During Summer Game Fest 2021, Ska Studios announced a sequel to Salt and Sanctuary. That game was a 2-D hand-drawn Soulslike, with a pale and papery look—and a hint of Limbo. It came out on the PS4 and, in 2017, the PS Vita. A new content update for Diablo Immortal is now live, and it introduces a long-requested feature to Diablo Immortal — server transfers. Also, the revealing developer blog post details the plan to merge some servers together in two weeks’ time. Developer Nightdive Studios has announced that Shadow Man: Remastered will be available on PC via Steam, GOG and the Epic Game Store from April 15 with Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions to follow at a later date. A remaster of the 1999 original, the game based on the comic series puts you in the shoes of Michael LeRoi, a man who ends up with the voodoo mask of shadows in his chest and is tasked with fighting his way across our world and the world of Darkside as he prevents a supernatural threat from creating an army to doom the world of the living....

Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn, the sequel to One of the Worst Video Games Ever Made, will package ‘super secret’ Bonus Fu DLC with its upcoming physical release, Saber Interactive and Wired Productions have revealed. The muscle-bound beat-’em-up will launch in stores this summer priced at £24.99 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and £34.99 for the Switch. The bonus DLC will apparently flesh out the game with additional levels and a new character, though beyond that not much else is known at this point....

I played Shatter when it first released and was quite taken with it. I’ve always liked brick breakers and the game not only offered a strong product that captured what I loved about the genre, but included some new tracks as well. Over a decade later and Shatter Remastered Deluxe has brought the game back to PC and consoles with its short campaign and few extra modes intact. It’s always nice to re-experience beloved titles from way back when, and this game is no different....

Note: This She-Ra and the Princesses of Power Season 5 spoiler-free review is based on the first ten of thirteen episodes of the season. She-Ra Season 5 is an absolute joy to behold. Every single thing about it clicks together and works beautifully. The story flows between fun adventures to deeply serious ruminations on identity and abandonment… then back to hilarious jokes! This is the show She-Ra was building toward. I really dug the first four seasons of the show but it sometimes felt a bit off....

In order to play the minigames, Ryo Hazuki has to spend cash on tokens, which can then be spent on entry fees or bet on games of chance. There is a quicker way of acquiring tokens and it requires the aid of divination and some teenage average racing turtles....

Throughout the first season of Hulu‘s half-hour feminist comedy Shrill, Annie is vexed by a troll commenting on her articles. The troll follows the trajectory of Annie’s career – when she’s celebrating her first article and its great reception, the troll first appears, ready and waiting to knock her down. Hanging out with her friends? A notification: “pig fuck tit bitch cum hog.” When she publishes her own personal manifesto of reclaiming her body, an article that resonates with so many others, her troll comes out in force, invoking her father’s cancer....

So, you’ve defeated your foes and secured your honor in Sifu. But that doesn’t mean the journey is over. Developer Sloclap recently patched in Chinese voice support, as well as some needed fixes. However, that was just the first step on the warrior’s journey. Sifu has received a content roadmap for 2022, with the first update bringing new outfits and difficulty options as soon as May 3. Acclaimed martial arts adventure Sifu will arrive on Steam and Xbox consoles for the first time in March 2023, developer Sloclap has confirmed. This version of the game will include a new Arenas mode, which will also arrive as a free update for PC via the Epic Games Store and on PlayStation at the same time. Details of what this new offering will include are thin on the ground at the moment - a trailer for the update promises nine maps which will unlock new modifiers and alternate moves, additional cheats and fresh outfits....

The year is starting off well for Sims 4 builders who are incredibly excited about the upcoming Tiny Living Stuff Pack. It looks set to contain not only the expected array of build and buy and create-a-sim items but also some new ways to build. SimGuruNinja and designer Conor took to The Sims Twitch channel to host a Livestream which gave Simmers almost 2 hours of information about the upcoming pack....

SnowRunner is moving into second gear next week, with the introduction of season 2 content. Season 2 for premium edition and season pass owners takes players to the Canadian wilderness with a new sandbox region. It all starts on November 16 for PC, when the new SnowRunner update drops. Season 2 Explore and Expand brings two new maps set in Canada’s Yukon wilderness, alongside some other additions. Three new vehicles are being added, including the CAT 770G....
