Atlus has released another trailer revealing one of the demons that will be included in the upcoming JRPG Soul Hackers 2. The daily trailer features Yoshitsune, a demon inspired from Japanese history (specifically Minamoto no Yoshitsune) that debuted in the original Soul Hackers’ predecessor, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner. He also appeared in the recent Shin Megami Tensei V. Like in most daily trailers, Atlus also provided a daily horoscope, which has Sagittarius at the top of the fortune ranking and Aries at the bottom....

Spider-Man and Deadpool are like two sides of the same coin. Their outfits look a lot alike, they have similar builds, they both like to joke endlessly as a front to hide their personal issues, etc. Plus they both have a tendency to annoy Wolverine on a regular basis. Its complex off-road physics and realistic handling blew me away, making it one of my favorite driving simulators ever. The Knights of Ren will finally return in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, according to Vanity Fair, which published a cover story about the movie that reveals a few interesting tidbits about this mysterious group of villains. The magazine also shared a photograph of the Knights of Ren on the Jordan set where the Pasaana portion of the movie was filmed. The most important new detail about the Knights of Ren is that the rumors we’ve been hearing for months are at least partially true: Kylo Ren is at odds with the rest of his order in The Rise of Skywalker....

PAX East is about to kick off and to celebrate Undead Labs has released a new gameplay trailer for State of Decay 2. The trailer shows base building, crafting, character selection, and of course running about taking down zombies with all kinds of weapons and vehicles. It’s quite gruesome in places. As probably everyone is aware, Rockstar Games suffered a huge leak, and tons of screenshots and early gameplay leaked for Grand Theft Auto 6. This is definitely the biggest leak in recent history, but there were many still questioning its authenticity. Rockstar Games have put out a statement in a tweet today, confirming the leak as a “network intrusion” but it won’t slow them down as the developer “remains committed as ever” to crafting the game....

There’s a cheap Nintendo Switch in the works, and it might just launch this summer according to new rumors. Nintendo is having a renaissance with the Switch. Last year, 17.5 million Switches were sold, and this year it’s expected to climb to 18.5 million, according to analysts talking to Bloomberg. Helping that along will be the introduction of a cheaper Switch version that is reportedly in development. According to two anonymous sources working in Nintendo, the less expensive version of the Switch will launch sometime at the end of June....

The release date and cover art for this year’s Call of Duty, rumoured to be called Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, appears to have leaked online. The image, posted on Reddit earlier today, appears to show a pre-order card for the ‘Legacy Edition’ of the unannounced game from US retailer Target, revealing a Friday, November 4 release date and the game’s cover. But as well as the date, it also reveals that a remastered version of 2007’s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will be included with an upcoming ‘Legacy Edition’....

Jagex has acquired Pipeworks Studios, making this the first major investment in the RuneScape developer’s 23-year history. The cost of the acquisition has not been confirmed but it likely wasn’t cheap. The Sumo Group previously acquired Pipeworks Studios in 2020 for $100 million. Pipeworks Studios is a developer based in Eugene, Oregon best known for co-development. The developer has experience with bringing games to other platforms, with it being responsible for porting Terraria to various consoles....

Disappointment over microtransactions in popular online fantasy RPG RuneScape has come to a head recently, following a report from the UK House of Commons about high levels of spending in video games. According to the report, a British RuneScape player built up debt exceeding £50,000 ($62,000 USD). Anger about RuneScape’s pay-to-play practices started in 2012 when RuneScape introduced a chance game called Squeal Of Fortune that gave rewards, such as armor, in-game money, or experience points....

Saber Interactive has been added to the team working on the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake. The update came from Embracer Group (as spotted by Video Games Chronicle) in their latest Q4 financial report. During the broadcast, Saber’s CEO & co-founder Matthew Karch revealed that the studio will support Aspyr on the project. “Aspyr has gone full in to make this the best game they can make.
