Spellbreak broke onto the battle royale scene earlier this year with a magical theme that makes for some intense PvP action. Developer Proletariat has been hard at work creating more content for the game and building upon the narrative/lore behind everything. Developer Wayforward has announced it’s bringing colourful shoot-em-up Spidersaurs to PC and consoles in Q2 2022. The shooter is an original property from the development team behind Contra 4. Classic action games such as the aforementioned Contra series and Saturday morning cartoons are the influences of the day. You’ll take on the role of either punk rocker Victoria or officer in training Adrian as you run around shooting half-spider, half-dinosaur hybrids known as Spidersaurs....

Stardew Valley has a new update today, called 1.4, which adds a slew of content, including new clothes and clothes tailoring, fish breeding, and new buildings. Developer ConcernedApe released the patch notes (via Eurogamer), which are comedically and ludicrously long. Fish ponds, hairstyles, 14-heart events, new hats, two new secret notes, 181 shirts, 17 new flooring options, a Deluxe Scarecrow, Dinosaur Mayonnaise (!). Having not played Stardew Valley myself, the list reads like a satire of patch notes....

Ghost of Tsushima, the samurai action game from Infamous developers Sucker Punch, may be coming to PS5 according to a new rumor. The rumor claims that PlayStation has two unannounced upcoming events. The first will be a State of Play livestream showcasing Death Stranding and The Last of Us 2. The second, PlayStation Meeting 2020, will focus on Ghost of Tsushima. Ghost of Tsushima has apparently been delayed, in part so it can be brought to PS4, too....

This RUN review contains spoilers. Run Season 1 Episode 7 “Trick” is the season finale of Run, but you’d be forgiven if you didn’t realize that. Personally, after the episode aired, I had to check HBO’s schedule to be sure that another episode wasn’t coming next Sunday. The half-hour concluded with Ruby walking away from Billy, the murder investigation unresolved, and the fallout from Ruby’s weekend getaway unexplored. You would have to assume Vicky Jones and company are confident that they’ll be returning for a second season, otherwise this unsatisfying conclusion would be even more of a head-scratcher....

The success of last year’s Samurai Shodown can’t be understated. SNK somehow managed to not only revive a long-dormant franchise but secure its popularity with a presence at EVO and a crossover with Soulcalibur. The game has sold well, has been supported with a bunch of DLC, and is set to receive even more DLC characters this year. At EVO Japan 2020 last night, SNK revealed the third character coming to season pass two....

CI Games has announced that Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 will be getting a new single-player DLC campaign called The Sabotage. This DLC will be a prequel to the original story from the main game. In The Sabotage, players will play as Robert North, the brother of Ghost Warrior 3’s main protagonist, and build up towards the Separatist revolution by infiltrating and sabotaging the Georgian army that’s under the command of General Otar Leonidze....
