Judgment, the upcoming detective brawler set in the Yakuza universe, has been pulled from sale in Japan after actor Pierre Taki was arrested for drug use in his native Tokyo. As reported by Japanese news outlet The Mainachi, Taki – who plays Yakuza Kyohei Hamura in the game – was arrested late last night after his home was searched based on several tip-offs and later transferred to a police station in Tokyo’s Koto Ward on Wednesday after a urine test which turned up traces of cocaine....
Today, Devolver Digital announced Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem, a “stand-alone expansion” to the series will be launching exclusively on Steam. Artur Laczkowski, the independent developer of the third-person horror exploration game Death of Rose, announced over his Twitter page that the game was officially canceled. Laczkowski has stated that Death of Rose was inspired by the Silent Hill franchise, as well as the works of Supermassive Games, the developers behind the game Until Dawn and the Dark Pictures franchise. According to Laczkowski, the game’s cancellation is due to feeling as though he is not currently able to realize the game as he had envisioned it....
During Ubisoft’s big showing at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo we got a look at Ubisoft Singapore’s Skull & Bones. A CG trailer played during the show showing plenty of pirates doing piratey things like loading cannons, and looking at ships through telescopes. Justin Farren, creative director of the game, took the stage and said that ‘piracy is dead’ in the Caribbean, so you’re on your sailing the Indian ocean looking to do all your piratey business....

Square Enix has announced via Twitter that the mysterious Outriders project will be shown off at the publisher’s E3 event. Though the video doesn’t show a great deal aside from someone waking up from some form of cryo-sleep, the tweets on the Outriders official Twitter account do tell an interesting story of what seems to be some sort of space mission that now finds one ‘Captain Archan’ trying to save what remains of humanity after some sort of incident on Earth....
In a press release today, Deep Silver announced that they will be collaborating with Square Enix for the North and South American distribution of their upcoming zombie action romp, Dead Island.
