Sega has put out some new footage of upcoming remaster Sonic Colours Ultimate in action, this time re-introducing us to the game’s Wisps. In case you never played the original release, the Wisps are an alien race from the Planet Wisp that help Sonic and friends in their adventure. Each of these brightly-coloured Wisps infers a different ability or power on our favourite blue hedgehog. Firstly the White Wisp accelerates your boost gauge, allowing Sonic to go even faster and bust through obstacles and enemies....

Sony’s peculiar venture into streaming TV is coming to an end. According to recent reports, Sony is shopping around for buyers to take over the money pit that its PlayStation Vue service has become as the costly service has yet to turn a profit. Despite yearly price increases and its popularity among PlayStation users, Sony is looking to wash its hands of the service in the near future. Another daily trailer of the upcoming JRPG Soul Hackers 2 has been released by Atlus, focusing on one of the demons that will be featured in the game. This trailer shows off Okuninushi, another demon inspired by Japanese folklore that first debuted in Megami Tensei II in 1990. It also appeared in the recent Shin Megami Tensei V. This year’s Assassin’s Creed is no longer called Assassin’s Creed Victory, a new report has claimed, with the project allegedly renamed ‘Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’. Kotaku, who first leaked Assassin’s Creed Victory last year, claims to have been made aware of the new name by a source last month, who also told them that the game would be revealed during a “pre-recorded stream on May 12”.
