Volition and Deep Silver have revealed their upcoming Saints Row reboot, with an all-new entry in the madcap crime series coming as soon as February 2022. Flying Wild Hog, the studio behind the rebooted Shadow Warrior series has two more projects under wraps. Currently, the developer is hard at work on Shadow Warrior 3 and Evil West. It’s been four years now but the long-awaited Shenmue 3 is very nearly upon us. Fans have wanted this sequel so badly that, when it was announced as a Kickstarter project, it raised $2 million in less than seven hours. The game’s image was tarnished somewhat during the recent Epic Games debacle, due to backers who were promised Steam keys being told that they wouldn’t receive them at launch but Epic Games has tried to make some amends by offering refunds for those upset with the decision....
Sloclap has announced that kung fu action game Sifu has surpassed one million units sold on its first three weeks on sale. The publisher/developer marked the milestone with a press release touting the 10 million hours those players racked up between them. Square Enix definitely hasn’t slacked as far as updates to their mobile games are concerned. War of the Visions: Brave Exvius recently got its second anniversary and Final Fantasy VI collaboration event, and now it looks like SINoALICE players will have a chance to collect characters from Kakegurui as well. SINoALICE is a little unique in that it features a story and world created by Yoko Taro, as well as a soundtrack composed by Keiichi Okabe....

Hi-Rez Studios are set to release Da Ji and the Legend of the Foxes an anime adventure featuring SMITE goddess Da Ji. In this adventure, Da Ji seeks help defending the sacred fox from waves of enemies and then taking on bosses. According to Hi-Rez, no two boss fights will be the same as they are completely randomised. Hi-Rez will also be adding more bosses with patches. Da Ji and the Legend of the Foxes will be free for all SMITE players with the option to buy the Senpai Bundle....
While the internet is quick to criticize Bethesda for porting Skyrim too many times, there’s a small, dedicated niche of gamers hell-bent on getting games to run on whatever hardware they can. And while Cuphead was recently ported to some Tesla cars in a move that astounded many, one gamer has upped the ante by porting the original DOOM to a McDonald’s cash register. It’s a fairly ridiculous gesture, and it does raise the question of where someone actually gets ahold of a used McDonald’s cash register, but it’s cool to see nonetheless....
Sony has polished off a new video highlighting some of the biggest PlayStation 4 releases of 2019, following on the heels of yesterday’s video looking back at last year’s bumper lineup. Most of the games are third-party as you’d expect, as Sony released the majority of its exclusives last year. We have stuff like Days Gone and Dreams due in 2019, but titles like Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us: Part II have yet to attract a release date....

Nintendo recently launched the third installment of the famous Splatoon series with some cool new features. The game offers various modes to play that can keep you entertained for hours. Early installments in the series determined the rank of the players through Ranked Battles. However, in Splatoon 3, Ranked Battles have been replaced with Anarchy Battles. But, this mode needs to be unlocked before you enter and start your ranked journey in the game....
Along with the upcoming demo for Splatoon 3, Nintendo is also offering Switch users a pretty awesome little perk. To get access to the demo, you will need to have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. However, not everyone who has a Switch necessarily wants to subscribe to NSO. To negate this, Nintendo is offering everyone who downloads the demo a code that will give them a seven day trial of its subscription service....
Publisher Tilting Point has announced it is bringing three new games to Netflix’s game library. Tilting Point specialises in mobile free-to-play games. Some of its most recently published games include Warhammer: Chaos and Request, Narcos: Idle Cartel, and SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off. The publisher has now partnered with Netflix to release three games on the platform, with SpongeBob: Get Cooking already available to download and play now. Another Narcos game called Cartel Wars Unlimited will be released soon, and a different “beloved Netflix show adaptation” has been teased....
For years CIG has been Star Citizen selling ships to help fill the coffers to fund development and today the latest money-making scheme has been launched. Called Land Claim Licenses, these licenses entitle a play to claim a single 4km x 4km or 8km x 8km of UEE land that has been zoned for commercial, residential or industrial use. Although these “licenses” can be purchased now for cash ($50.00), they will be purchasable with UEC, the in-game currency, when the mechanic is launched in the game....
There’s a pretty big “The Age of Rebellion” update for Star Wars Battlefront II dropping tomorrow that fans of the original film trilogy won’t want to miss. BlizzCon 2010 was chock full new information for eager fans, pertaining both to Diablo III and StarCraft 2. While Diablo got its last class reveal and Arena battling, the StarCraft franchise got a new Zerg unit.
