The hardest part about enjoying video games in my adult life is simply finding the time to play them. Networking events, gym, work, and family functions easily can consume hours of free time on any given day of the week. And, I know that isn’t the case for everyone, but for some like me, there’s a reason why I play quick first-person shooter and Rocket League matches so frequently. More often than not, I try to avoid anything that demands more than 15 hours of my attention in order to complete it....

The True Crime genre may never be the same after Steve Martin and Martin Short search for clues on a new Hulu series. Co-created by Martin and John Hoffman, the as-yet-untitled series comes from This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman and 20th Century Fox TV. Martin and Hoffman will write the series and serve as executive producers, along with Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal and Short. Hulu has given it a straight-to-series order....

Retro-inspired FPS Strafe will miss its planned March 28 release on PC, now heading to both PC and PS4 on May 9, developer Pixel Titans and Devolver Digital have announced. The extra weeks are said to be the result of a polygon shortage. “STRAFE® requires over 150,000 meticulously placed polygons to create its bleeding edge graphics,” noted game director Thom Glunt. “Through an unexpected legal entanglement and a series of clerical errors, nearly 25,000 of those polygons arrived late to Pixel Titans world headquarters thus delaying the game by a few weeks....

Indiana Jones-esque adventurer Strange Brigade will launch on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on August 28, Rebellion has announced. In addition to the standard version of the game, Strange Brigade will also receive a swanky Collector’s Edition, which includes a copy of the game, steelbook case, the Secret Service Weapons Pack, Airship model, 64-page art book, plus an exclusive suitcase design and sleeve. Strange Brigade takes place in the 1930s and places emphasis on cooperative play, with four unqiue adventurers up for grabs, each one possessing their own set of special attributes....

Capcom just announced the dates for Street Fighter 6’s upcoming closed beta test. The dates were shown as part of Capcom’s Tokyo Game Show livestream event earlier today, which also included a new look at parts of the game and some returning fighters. Series veterans Ken, Blanka, Dhalsim and E. Honda were all confirmed as returning characters to the roster.
