Enderal, a total conversion mod for Skyrim, is getting its own stand-alone Steam page. German mod team SureAI has been hard at work for years creating their total conversion mod for the perennial classic, Skyrim. It was finally released in German in July 2016, and then in English a month later. For those unfamiliar with the mod, it changes nearly everything about the game. Gone is the familiar Nordic setting of Skyrim in favor of one that spans all sort of climates, from dense jungle to barren desert wasteland....

Yuji Naka, the lead programmer of the original Sonic the Hedgehog, has announced that he is working on a new action game at Square Enix (via Gematsu). Naka established the independent game development studio Prope in 2006. The studio worked on a collection of mobile games, and is best known for Ivy the Kiwi? for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii. He joined Square Enix last year, and confirmed that Prope has since become a one person company after his departure....

Following months of rumours and reports, it’s now claimed Sony will unveil its new Game-Pass-style PlayStation Plus subscription overhaul - codenamed Spartacus - “as early as next week”. That’s according to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, who first reported on Sony’s Spartacus plans last December, claiming the new service would effectively combine the company’s two current PlayStation subscription offerings - PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now - into a single package split across three different subscription tiers....

Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida and Iron Galaxy Studios boss Adam Boyes recreate their famous Xbox One diss from E3 2013. After the Xbox One faced criticism for its game sharing feature, Boyes and Yoshida were part of a video that told viewers how easy it is to share games on PS4, where Yoshida just hands a game case to Boyes. With Sony and Microsoft about to start fighting over console sales with the PS5 and Xbox Series X, Yoshida felt it was a good time for him and Boyes to make a new version for 2020....

Sony could be planning to skip E3 2020, suggests a new rumor. The company also skipped E3 2019, making it the first time that Sony hadn’t attended the event in 24 years. A report by Video Games Chronicle says that some anonymous sources have said that Sony doesn’t planning on coming to E3 2020. Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter, who is famous for controversial gaming suggestions like the time he said console gaming wouldn’t be around in 2020, also doubts that Sony will be there....

Ubisoft San Francisco’s debut title, South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 17, 2017. With the date already confirmed a few weeks ago, it’s nice to see the game in action once again. The founder of State of Decay developer Undead Labs—Jeff Strain—has announced he’s started up a new studio named Possibility Space. The new studio intends to build “joyful games around human experiences”. Though “based” in New Orleans, the team will actually operate as a “distributed studio” with staff based remotely. Developer Sumo Digital has released a title update for platformer Sackboy: A Big Adventure that enables online multiplayer for the game. The title has supported local multiplayer from launch, but online functionality was disabled at last minute to ensure the “very best experience” for players.
