This Stargirl review contains spoilers. Stargirl Episode 10 At this point, we should all really feel sorry for people who aren’t watching Stargirl. It doesn’t seem as though it should be possible for a show about a teenage girl with a glowing staff and a knockoff Captain America costume to be the consistently best superhero series on the air and, yet, here we are. “Brainwave Jr” doesn’t just manage to pull off a truly shocking final scene, it also rehabilitates its most problematic character, shake-up life at the Whitmore-Dugan household forever, fully establishes Brainwave as the most terrifying villain on this show, and gives us the series’ best group fight sequence to date....

For once, we’ve got some good news regarding gaming hardware. Valve put out an update earlier today regarding the production of the Steam Deck. It looks like many of the supply chain issues affecting production are “clearing up,” allowing more Decks to be produced than ever before. This is something that Valve hinted at not too long ago. Honestly, it’s just nice to have some good news for once. Valve’s post also provides an update on when people can expect their Steam Decks....

Insomniac Games may be best known for its work on PlayStation-exclusives like Ratchet & Clank, Resistance, and the critically-acclaimed Spider-Man on PS4. Despite its close relationship with Sony over the years, Insomniac was technically an independent studio until just recently, giving it the opportunity to work on Sunset Overdrive for Xbox One, as well as a number of virtual reality projects for the Oculus Rift. Insomniac has been with Oculus since the start, releasing games like Edge of Nowhere and Feral Rites....

When I first played Stormland at PAX West earlier this year, I had very little VR experience and was absolutely blown away by the freedom of mobility Insomniac Games had designed for their new Oculus Rift first-person shooter. It’s no surprise, really, if anyone was going to figure out how to make moving around in VR fun, it was surely going to be the developers of Sunset Overdrive and Marvel’s Spider-Man....

A story expansion for Lost Judgment is on the way starring supporting character Masaharu Kaito. Named The Kaito Files, the four-chapter expansion sees you playing as “the muscle of the Yagami Detective Agency” with his own unique combat style. The expansion is due out on 28th March on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, priced $29.99. Owners of the Ultimate Edition or Season Pass will get the expansion for free. As he ties up loose ends of his past, Kaito will use his Primal Focus detective techniques as well as two beastly fighting styles: the aggressive Bruiser or defensive Tank....

BlueTwelve Studio and Annapurna Interactive have revealed Stray, a game about a lost cat in a strange city, and it’s in development for PC and PlayStation 5. Stray is set in a neon-soaked city populated by robots. Remnants of human habitation linger, like air conditioning units, graffiti, and garbage bins, but this is clearly a very different world to ours. And, the cat has a backpack. Promising action, exploration, and puzzle-solving, BlueTwelve Studio wanted to tell a new story about the future from a unique perspective....

Street Fighter 6 has been rated in South Korea. As spotted by the eagle-eyed folks at Resetera, the fighting game - which, as yet, does not have a firm release date beyond a very vague “2023” window - has secured a 15 age rating due to its “expression of physical damage shown in illustrations in addition to basic fighting expression”. Whilst this doesn’t necessarily mean that a release is just around the corner, it does intimate that it’s probably set to drop in the next six months or so… and with The Game Awards just a few days away now, many fans are speculating that we may get that all-important release date then....

It appears as though S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 may have had a small subtitle change to Heart of Chornobyl by developer GSC Game World. As spotted by PC Gamer, the game’s subtitle on Steam has been quietly updated at some point over the last day or so. The name change has been reflected in most of the game’s entries and description, and appears to be deliberate. While no official announcement has been given, the name is the preferred Ukrainian spelling for the region....

Rare held a special Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life Showcase last night, offering up some new details on this week’s Pirates of the Caribbean crossover content coming to the nautical adventure. The almost 40-minute broadcast gave viewers more insight into Rare and Disney’s collaboration behind the scenes, as well as the content itself. A Pirate’s Life will add two brand new locations in the Sea of the Damned and the Sunken Kingdom....

The Sega Mega Drive Mini 2 console has been fully announced for an Oct. 27 release date for Europe and the UK with a new video. This new mini console will also include Mega CD titles as well. The Mega Drive Mini 2 will include 60 titles, and the video’s description also includes a mysterious “(+1)” to that number. Thomas the Tank Engine’s popularity only seems to be growing, as he’s now been added to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice in a new mod. Upon its release, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice became a haven for modders due to the fact that FromSoftware and Activision allowed modding right away. This allowed players to come up with some interesting mods for the game. However, one of the most hilarious mods has become the one that replaces the Great Serpent with Thomas the Tank Engine....

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the third installment in the recent reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise. I was a really big fan of both Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider. This time around, though, Eidos Montreal takes over the development reigns. Twitch streamer and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds star Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek had his Twitter account hacked this past Saturday. The popular gaming personality was the latest of a growing list of influencers to get their social media accounts exploited in the last week. Shroud, known for his insane PUBG skills, had his Twitter compromised around 9:40 am on Saturday morning, with the hacker using the account to tweet as a hacker normally would, asking people to follow certain accounts and spewing out a bit of hate - in this case, racial slurs and derogatory remarks directed to Keemstar, FaZe Ewok and Dr....

School 26 is the studio’s debut title and focuses on social interaction and high school antics. Gershkovitch is certainly no gaming noob. Her adventures in the industry date back to 2005 when she was entrusted with all the business aspects of EA breakaway Deep Fried Entertainment, which created games for Sega and Take Two Interactive....
