Marvel’s Spider-Man released for the PlayStation 4 in 2018 and did a great job of including several cool and iconic Spider-Man suits that allowed players to customize their experience. The game saw both great sales and critical success, so it is safe to assume that Insomniac Games is already hard at work on the sequel. With that in mind, fans are left wondering what other comic book Spider-Man suits can be introduced in the follow-up....

A Splinter Cell easter egg is waiting in the shadows of The Division 2’s latest DLC, and it’s sparking speculation that Ubisoft may return to the stealth series. Reddit user LordLoucorn spotted a familiar face in the arcade on Coney Island. Well, it’s a teddy wearing Sam Fisher’s trifocal goggles, while hiding in the roof of the building. Ubisoft is wont to reference its games inside its games, like an arcade machine for Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon in Watch Dogs 2, or Assassin symbols in Rainbow Six Siege....

While many Star Wars fans are excited about developer Respawn’s upcoming single-player Star Wars adventure, Jedi: Fallen Order, few fans have as fascinating of a perspective on the reveal of this upcoming game as Amy Hennig; the creator of Uncharted who worked on an infamously canceled Star Wars project named Ragtag. Hennig admits to being a little confused as to why Fallen Order is being celebrated as single-player experience when Ragtag was partially canceled for being the same thing....

Well, it’s not surprising news but it’s disappointing news all the same. Star Wars Celebration 2020 has been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The announcement was posted to StarWars.com, and pushed across all Star Wars and Star Wars Celebration social media feeds. The annual gathering of Star Wars fans and creators was set to begin on August 27 and run through August 30 of this year. Now the event will be rescheduled for August 18 – 21, 2022 in Anaheim....

The newly-opened Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge theme park at Walt Disney World in Orlando (and Disneyland in Anaheim) is an immersive experience where guests can create their own Star Wars story. Leaked Star Wars game Star Wars Project Maverick will have multiplayer gameplay, a listing has confirmed. The unannounced Star Wars game was revealed early yesterday after a PlayStation Store listing bot found the game and its logo. After Twitter bot PSN Releases leaked Star Wars Project Maverick, the developer of the bot Luciano Ciccariello posted the content ID for the game’s PlayStation Store listing. By using this ID, fans have been able to look at the database file which reveals more information about the new Star Wars game....

Valve has once again hit an all-new concurrent user peak record - this time, topping 28 million users. It’s the latest in a long-line of record-breaking stats for Valve, which first saw the number of concurrent users climb at the start of the pandemic in 2020. The all-time peak now sits at 28,230,853 concurrent players. “Concurrent users saw strong growth during 2020, due to the impact of COVID-19, but it’s clear that growth also continued to persist in 2021,” explains industry analyst, Daniel Ahmad, before pointing out that it’s the post-Christmas period that seemingly proves particularly popular for Steam....

1930s adventurer Strange Brigade is getting a season pass featuring a three-part mini-campaign, developer Rebellion has announced. The season pass will also include a bunch of new heroes plucked from various parts of the globe, each one packing their own unique abilities. This will be complemented by an arsenal of new weapons, outfits, extra amulet powers, and more. If that wasn’t enough to awaken your inner Dr. Jones, then Strange Brigade is set to receive a bunch of free monthly content, although Rebellion’s keeping mum on any further details right now....

“It wasn’t a great PR strategy,” president of Sony Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida has said of No Man’s Sky. Sony is being sued for £5bn, accused of “ripping people off” on its online store. The legal claim is led by ex-managing director of Which UK Alex Neill and was filed with the Competition Appeal Tribunal last week. It claims by charging a 30 percent commission on digital games and in-game purchases on the PlayStation Store, Sony is in breach of competition law.
