Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo has been delayed to early 2016 to let Milestone deliver a “higher quality” experience, PQube has announced. The game had previously been due to arrive on PS4, Xbox One and PC this October. “Sébastien Loeb Rally EVO is the biggest project ever made by Milestone since now,” the studio’s VP Luisa Bixio said while commenting on the delay. “We’ve decided to postpone it to focus more on the title development....
Bandai Namco sends word that the second part of the Depths of the Maw expansion for the delightfully creepy Little Nightmares has been released today, alongside a free demo for the adventure. This chapter, entitled The Hideaway, sees the Runaway Kid introduced in the first chapter having to find and rescue The Nomes in a new hub-like layout that gives you more freedom than before, but also brings along more complex puzzles to solve....
Back in June of 2017 Netflix cancelled Sense8 and the fan outcry was immediate. Hashtags were started, campaigns mounted, and Netflix was bombarded with e-mails and calls. It’s no surprise, since season two was left on such a major cliffhanger, that fans desperately wanted some kind of resolution. Lana Wachowski, one of the creators of Sense8, confirmed the ratings weren’t there for Sense8 in its first two seasons but that fans made enough of an outcry that Netflix would at least give the creative team a way to wrap up the story....
The un-patched version of Shadow of the Tomb Raider features an alternate post-credits scene that developer Eidos Montreal has said was ‘mistakenly included in the game.’ News first emerged last week on the Tomb Raider forums, when user ‘Tombstone’ (via Kotaku) asked why no-one else was talking about one very specific element featured in the ending sequence, which naturally had other forum members scratching their heads. Shenmue creator Yu Suzuki has said that he is “eternally grateful” for the support shown by fans throughout Shenmue 3’s Kickstarter campaign, and confirmed that the game has “just started getting into development”. In an update shared with backers this morning, Suzuki praised fans for their efforts in helping Shenmue 3 break Kickstarter and Guinness world records, having become the fastest game to reach $1 million and the most-funded video game ever on the crowd-funding platform....

Nintendo has revealed a new Pokémon evolution exclusive to Pokémon Sword, Sirfetch’d. A new, glitchy Pokémon appeared on the Sword and Shield website earlier this week, and sent fans into a frenzy of speculation. Some thought it was a totally new Fighting type Pokémon, and some guessed that it could be a Galarian Cubone. It resembled a knight holding a shield and a green lance, and the idea of a new evolution for Gen 1 Pokémon Farfetch’d gained considerable traction....

Say what you will about action rogue-lites, but they’re clearly here to stay. Fighting your way through perilous encounters while acquiring random power-ups with various builds can make for highly-compelling gameplay. Most games in the subgenre follow suit and don’t innovate much or successfully achieve their own identity. Sega and Blind Squirrel Entertainment have released a new trailer for Sonic Colours: Ultimate, showing the upcoming re-releases’ new features and graphical upgrades. Of course there’s the re-vamped lighting, improved graphics, 4K resolution and silky-smooth 60FPS to enjoy, but this Ultimate version of Sonic’s adventure also includes a new mode called ‘Rival Rush’ where you’ll go up against Metal Sonic for rewards. Shuhei Yoshida, Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios president, shared his thoughts on Death Stranding, the games industry in Asia, next generation possibilities, and cloud gaming in an interview with Dengeki Online (via DualShockers).
