Sea Of Thieves Update 1 0 2 Increases Ship Respawn Distance

Rare has launched a new update for PC and Xbox One plunder-’em-up Sea of Thieves, with update 1.0.2 applying some key changes for the action-adventure title. Chiefly, the developer has been poking and prodding with ship respawn time, so that vessels now return from Davy Jones’ Locker out of sight from the ship that put them beneath the waves. The change comes from user feedback observing instances of stalemates at forts and ‘griefing’ behaviour....

Sean Astin Plays A Pirate Museum Curator In New Sea Of Thieves Trailer

Microsoft has signed up The Lord of the Rings actor Sean Astin to front its latest Sea of Thieves marketing campaign, with The Goonies star featuring as an asthmatic pirate museum curator in a new trailer for the high-seas adventure game. It’s not hard to see why Astin was considered a ‘perfect fit’ for the role, as he’s clearly having a blast hamming it up as the wannabe pirate who sought ‘fame, fortune, scurvy’ but was sadly held back by his asthma....

Shin Megami Tensei Iii Nocturne Hd Remaster Preview Hee Ho

It’s not every day that I get to write a preview for a game I first played a decade and a half ago, but here we are. Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster (yeah, that name needed to get longer) is coming out in the West in about a month. I got to spend some quality time with the PC version which, unlike the PlayStation 4 and Switch games, wasn’t released in Japan back in October....

Silent Hill 10 Times The Main Characters Messed Up Big

Widely considered one of the founders of the survival-horror genre, Silent Hill is infamous for its intricate stories that are packed with symbolism and frustratingly difficult puzzles. It’s also got a bit of a reputation for making several misguided attempts at being creepy that end up being hilarious instead. It makes up for that last part with an immersive atmosphere and an unapologetic willingness to delve into psychological horror, playing on the fears of its audience and characters alike....

Skorecery Review A Sporting Spell But At A Steep Cost

Two words: wizard soccer. No… not Quidditch. Think more like Pong but with power ups and debuffs. That’s the closest I can get to describing Skorecery, a PlayStation 4-exclusive local multiplayer game. Yes, you read that right. Skorecery is a game that makes the seemingly-small ask of having at least one friend and one extra PS4 controller nearby just to play it. Unfortunately, it’s an ask that will probably stop the game from finding an audience....

He’s also had a hand in crafting the hit TV show as well....

The sixth episode of Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 feels, in some ways, like a smaller story that eventually becomes huge. Star Wars Jj Abrams On Linking Trilogies And Familiar Faces

This article contains mild spoilers for Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker. The Rise Of Skywalker, the ninth episodic Star Wars movie, had the unenviable task of wrapping up not only the sequel trilogy, but the entire Skywalker saga. It was a challenge not lost on JJ Abrams, the returning helmer of The Force Awakens… “I don’t know if we had a mission statement as such,” he tells Den Of Geek when we catch up with the tired but chatty director, who’s in London as part of a whistle-stop pre-Christmas global press tour....

Star Wars Return Of The Jedi The Culmination Of George Lucas Original Vision

After The Empire Strikes Back magnified everything that Star Wars offered, it would be fair to say that Return of the Jedi faced a tough task – tying up the cinematic phenomenon that was the original Star Wars trilogy. And while the 1983 Empire follow-up may not be remembered as fondly as its immediate predecessors, it still manages to offer a fun space drama with plenty of action. At one point known as Revenge of the Jedi (and reportedly scheduled to have Luke take Vader’s place alongside the Emperor), this instalment was directed by Richard Marquand....
