Sony has offered to extend PlayStation Plus members’ subscriptions by one day following an outage on PlayStation Network earlier this month. The outage saw Sony’s network go down for multiple hours on Monday, January 4, leaving players unable to sign in to PSN or play online multiplayer games. Affected players will have received an email containing a voucher code over the weekend, which adds an extra day on to their PlayStation Plus subscription....

A speedrunner at Awesome Games Done Quick completed Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice in two hours blindfolded. The speedrun was part of the digital event that raised over $3.4m for Prevent Cancer Foundation. Not only was this the highest total for a single GDQ event, AGDQ 2022 reached $1m in donations in the shortest amount of time. Square Enix Collective has announced the latest game to be published by the indie-friendly initative will be PC and PS4 sandbox MMO Boundless in a press release sent out today. The game was first launched in Early Access on Steam in 2014, and was revealed to be heading to the PlayStation 4 in October 2015. This is the next phase of Star Wars with the conclusion of the Skywalker Saga, and it will start as a big publishing effort from Lucasfilm and Disney. There are rumors that the first major High Republic project outside of the publishing world could be a new Star Wars video game followed by a new series of films, but Lucasfilm did not reveal any of those plans and only spoke about its upcoming publishing plans, which encompasses comics and books....

EA will debut the official reveal trailer for Star Wars Battlefront during a panel taking place at Star Wars Celebration on April 17 at 18:30 BST.
