Sony has been a little preoccupied recently, with the whole PSN hacking incident, but apparently they’ve still remained hard at work on upcoming titles for later this year. Sony announced today that a few of the titles they’ve been working on may seem a bit familiar to anyone who owns a PSP - because a lot of people have already played them. The new ‘PSP Remastered’ series will be hitting the PlayStation 3, and it will bring some of the PSP’s most popular games with it....

Today the artificial intelligence-dedicated arm of Sony, Sony AI teased the reveal of its “gaming flagship,” and it’s likely about Gran Turismo 7. The tease made on the company’s official Twitter account, mentions a collaboration with Gran Turismo developer Polyphony Digital, and with the seventh numbered chapter of the franchise coming soon, it’s likely safe to assume that it’ll be featured in the game. The reveal will be on Wednesday, February 9....

Sony plans to plant trees for players of Horizon Forbidden West. As part of its Play and Plant initiative, Sony will plant a tree for every player who receives the Reached the Daunt trophy in the game. In partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, Sony will contribute to three reforestation projects in the US: Douglas County Forest, Sheep Fire Private Lands, and Torreya State Park. Players will have until 25th March to earn the trophy, which is unlocked early on as part of the main story....

Kalypso and Realmforge Studios have announced a closed beta for Spacebase Startopia. The game is a galactic space base-management simulator, with a blend of city building. The beta can be accessed by pre-ordering the game on Steam. Also, a brand new trailer has been released, demonstrating some of the gameplay which is set in outer space. The closed beta will include a lot of content, with more being added before the full game releases....

Ubisoft’s marketing team has outdone itself with this Far Cry Primal Stone Age PlayStation 4, DualShock 4 controllers, TV and even some pizza. Rock Band 4 helped Mad Catz achieve its second highest third quarter fiscal 2016 sales in the company’s history, although the music game failed to meet forecasts. Popular racing-car/soccer video game, Rocket League, was recently acquired by Epic Games. This acquisition didn’t really sit well with some fans out there as the famous car-soccer video game was review bombed on Steam in the wake of this acquisition.
