With just a few short weeks to go until Insomniac Games’ superb Spider-Man Remastered makes the jump from PlayStation 5 to PC on 12th August, Sony has released new details on the game’s PC-exclusive features, plus full spec requirements so prospective purchasers can get a sense of how it’ll run on their machines. Starting with the new features arriving as part of Spider-Man Remastered’s PC release, these’ll include (for those with compatible GPUs) ray-traced reflections at varying quality levels, plus support for Nvidia DLSS and DLAA....

The Electronic Entertainment Expo Experience (or E3 for short) has announced a bunch of new particpants who will be showcasing their wares at the annual gaming event between June 12 and June 15, 2021. Kingdom Hearts 3 is getting a series of free and paid-for DLC, director Tetsuya Nomura confirmed during a chat with Dengeki Online (via IGN). It’s possible one of the free updates may feature the leaked Critical Mode, although Nomura-san said that any free content will most probably arrive as smaller updates to be released as soon as they are completed. The paid DLC meanwhile will be meatier and likely grouped together for a release by the end of the year....

STALKER 2, the latest title in the series of post-apocalyptic survival horror games developed by GSC Game World, will be built using the Unreal Engine. According to the developer, the choice was made because Epic’s game engine will make modding easy and accessible for players. User-created mods will be important in keeping the game fresh and the community active long after release so that the devs can focus on creating additional games for the series....

Fans hoping to see Boba Fett on screen again after his demise in Return of the Jedi almost four decades ago are finally getting what they wished for: the galaxy’s most infamous bounty hunter will appear in The Mandalorian season 2. Capcom’s Street Fighter franchise is being turned into a live-action TV series by Entertainment One/Mark Gordon.
