The Saints Row series had one of the strangest progressions in tone and setting of all-time. The first game in the series was similar to the Grand Theft Auto games, in that it involved gangsters committing crimes in a contemporary setting, but the last game in the series ended up with alien invasions, breaking out of the Matrix, and trips to the afterlife. Piranha Bytes’ upcoming action-RPG ELEX will release on PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2017, publisher Nordic Games has confirmed. The game had previously been slated for release in late 2016/early 2017. First revealed last July, ELEX is described as an open-world action-RPG set in a “post-apocalyptic Science Fantasy universe” full of “original characters, mutated creatures, deep moral choices and powerful action”. It’ll also feature jetpacks, Nordic says, allowing for “full vertical exploration”....
Serial Cleaners on PC Sometimes, it can be clear how some games are positioned to kick off a franchise, with a big budget and a huge marketing push to set things up for success. Other times, a surprise indie hit can make it big with creative gameplay, a good story, eye-catching visuals, or a combination of everything. The latter is certainly what developers Draw Distance hit upon with 2017’s Serial Cleaner, and its sequel, Serial Cleaners, is another step in the right direction to cleaning up well as a stealth-action game....

Solar Opposites co-creators Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan brought a lot over from their other show, Rick and Morty, like the art style and the whole sci-fi sitcom format. But where the latter show is primarily about Rick and Morty and their adventures through space and the multiverse, this new one stays grounded on Earth, focused on its characters and their relationships. So, now that you’ve watched all of Solar Opposites on Hulu (because you probably should watch it all first as I will gently spoil stuff here), you definitely need a character guide to let you know info about all the main characters as well as some of the lesser, but still standout characters....
The adventure game genre didn’t have the easiest time adjusting to modernity. Solving obtuse puzzles using a variety of random knick-knacks in games with immersive, dangerous worlds where you control your character and all their movements directly don’t go hand-in-hand. Add a focus on narratives with complex themes and careful stories, and it’s no wonder the walking simulator came to be. Someday You’ll Return isn’t really an adventure game. And it’s definitely not what I’d call a walking simulator....

This time around, we get the reveal of Girimekhala, a demon that debuted a long time ago in Megami Tensei II, and has also recently appeared in Shin Megami Tensei V. As usual, the trailer also includes the daily horoscope, which places Aries at the top of the fortune ranking and Virgo at the very bottom....
