David Harbour, best known for his role as Jim Hopper in the Netflix series Stranger Things, has revealed that he is starring in an upcoming horror game alongside Killing Eve star Jodie Comer. The news was revealed in an interview with Video Games FanNation, which Harbour ostensibly took part in to promote World of Warcraft’s Dragonflight expansion. Harbour is currently working on a movie adaptation of Gran Turismo and was asked on whether he would consider starring in a video game....

Cellar Door Games’ Rogue Legacy 2 now has an official release date. The popular rogue-lite will launch with version 1.0 on April 28. An early access version is currently available for purchase on both Steam and the Epic Games Launcher for $24.99 USD. SEGA Europe has announced the acquisition of Amplitude Studios, the French game developer of the Endless series, a 4X strategy franchise including Endless Legend, Endless Space and Dungeon of the Endless. SEGA will now publish Endless Space 2 which is due to go into Early Access later this year. It will also take over publishing responsibilities for the back catalogue of Endless games and any future content. “To have the opportunity to add a studio with the growing reputation of Amplitude’s, to the SEGA family, is an exciting one and reinforces SEGA Europe’s position as a market leader in publishing high quality PC games,” said Jurgen Post, President and COO for SEGA Europe....

Released back in June 2014, Spintires was a surprisingly good game that provided the self-proclaimed “ultimate off-road challenge.” It would later get a sequel, MudRunner, that built further on that concept. Just last year, another sequel, SnowRunner, was officially announced on Twitter. It may have taken a little while, but now we finally have a gameplay trailer. The trend of cartoonish video games being turned into live-action movies continues with the 2019 Sonic the Hedgehog movie currently in development. We have now been given our first glimpse at the live-action version of Sonic the Hedgehog via the official Instagram page of IGN, where we can see the silhouette of how Sonic will appear in the film. It’s hard to make a judgment of Sonic’s design based on the silhouette alone, but there is just something terribly off about Sonic’s limbs and proportions....

As part of a multitude of release date changes from Paramount, a date was finally given to the much anticipated Sonic the Hedgehog movie sequel. Sonic The Hedgehog 2 will be released on April 8, 2022. The release date was confirmed in a Twitter post by Sonic voice actor Ben Schwartz. This confirms that he’ll be returning to the film series alongside the previously announced return of director Jeff Fowler and writers Pat Casey and Josh Miller....
