Today a “Tactics Ogre: Reborn” trademark application filed by Square Enix was published in Japan. The filing, spotted by Twitter user Renka, was submitted on March 31. This has, of course, sparked speculation about a possible remaster or remake, possibly of the 1995 SNES classic Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together or its 2010 remake for PSP. Today Sony released a brand-new trailer of God of War Ragnarok, and it’s full of stars. Specifically, we get to see actors Ben Stiller and John Travolta, and basketball player LeBron James as they gather in a parent support group with their children. Of course, it’s all about God of War Ragnarok. Ben Stiller is also wearing a Kratos costume, which adds value to the whole thing. The father-son dynamic was extremely important in the original God of War, so I’d be surprised if it wasn’t the same in God of War Ragnarok, and it’s pretty hilarious to see this trailer joke around about it....

A leak first reported by IGN suggests that a new Star Wars game codenamed “Project Maverick” might be on the way from Electronic Arts. The source of the leak is a listing on the backend of the European PlayStation Network that teases the unannounced game with an image of a squadron of X-wings zooming towards an Imperial Star Destroyer. The leaked listing was first posted on Twitter and Reddit. While there has previously been no mention of a “Project Maverick” at EA, we have heard that there are at least two Star Wars games currently in the works at the publisher....

Starbreeze Studios hasn’t exactly had the best track record when it comes to developing or publishing games.
