The enormous and anticipated update for Star Citizen has arrived today. With update 3.3.5, players now have access to the game’s first major planet, Hurston. Along with the planet comes the city of Lorville, a landing zone with commercial and residential areas to traverse and explore. The patch has released ahead of the upcoming free week. Starting this Friday, you can download and play Star Citizen for no money down. The week should allow you plenty of time to take in the new sights....

EA has announced that excellent third person Star Wars action game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be available to EA Play subscribers from November 10 — the same day the service gets added at no extra cost to subscribers to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The game, which originally released around this time last year puts you in the boots of Cal Kestis, a former Jedi who’s hung up his lightsaber and has supressed his connection to the Force before the start of the game five years after the Jedi purge of Order 66....

Electronic Arts shared that the first gameplay of the upcoming Star Wars action-adventure game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be aired soon. To be precise, it’ll be showcased at The Game Awards on Dec. 8, later this week. Alongside the announcement, we also get new artwork showcasing the protagonist Kal Kestis and his faithful droid BD-1 in a heroic pose. You can check it out below. Axolot Games, the creator of the well received crafting game Scrap Mechanic, has announced that it’ll publish Raft, an oceanic survival game from Redbeet Interactive, in 2018. This is a game where players can play alone or join forces with friends to endure the the ocean’s dangers and live another day. In Raft, players have to stay afloat in an epic seafaring adventure. Starting out on a single raft, players must gather debris, grow their own produce, dive deep into the ocean for resources and craft items in order to survive life on the open ocean, amidst sea-dwelling dangers and nature’s elements....

Yakuza: Like a Dragon represented a significant shift in direction for Sega’s acclaimed series. Nearly every game beforehand featured real-time, beat-’em-up-style combat, but Like a Dragon abandoned that approach in favor of an old-school, turn-based RPG battle system. This sudden change in genre risked alienating longtime fans of the Yakuza series, but developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s gamble paid off. The critical and commercial success of Like a Dragon has no doubt left fans wondering how the developers will build upon this new direction in a future installment....
