Psyonix announces that it will be ending support for Rocket League on MacOS and Linux. This is the third controversial decision that the developer has made in the last year after fans criticized Psyonix for being purchased by Epic Games and for taking loot boxes out of the game. In a post on the Rocket League support site, Psyonix has confirmed that in March, players on MacOS and Linux will no longer be able to enjoy online multiplayer....

Sky Sports will use crowd sounds from FIFA in place of the real spectators when the Premier League returns on June 17 (via Eurogamer). Atlus released another of its daily trailers of the upcoming JRPG Soul Hackers 2, focusing on one of the demons that will be featured in the game. This time the trailer reveals Dionysus, a demon that has been part of the Shin Megami Tensei franchise since Shin Megami Tensei: if… and also appeared in the recent Shin Megami Tensei V. Like most daily trailers, we also get the daily horoscope, which sees Capricorn at the top of the fortune ranking and Sagittarius at the bottom....

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is out this week, which means we can finally share this interview with Shameik Moore! The actor from Atlanta voices Miles Morales, the hero in Marvel and Sony’s dimension-hopping animated movie, which has already spawned talk of sequels and spinoffs. Lucasfilm’s immersive entertainment studio, ILMxLAB, is developing a new Star Wars VR experience called Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge. “We are so excited for fans to step into Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge later this year,” says Vicki Dobbs Beck, ILMxLAB Executive-in-Charge, via a press release. “This action-packed adventure not only speaks to the promise of connected and complementary experiences by extending the lore around Black Spire Outpost, it represents another meaningful step in ILMxLAB’s quest to transition from storytelling – one-way communication – to storyLIVING, where you’re inside a world making consequential choices that drive your experience forward....

Star Wars Battlefront is to receive a major new title update today that will bring a “host of fixes and updates” to the game, EA has confirmed. The patch looks to fix various issues with the game’s weapons, star cards, Heroes and stability, and feature changes to DLC character Greedo to make him “more balanced”. Luke Skywalker’s health has been slightly increased, too, as has his blocking time, which now matches that of Darth Vader’s....

A new report hints that Quantic Dream’s upcoming Star Wars game, Star Wars Eclipse, will feature a “athletic 30-something and a member of a human-like race” female lead and introduce a brand-new race into Star Wars canon. “Materials seen" by podcast Sacred Symbols (£) talk of “Project S” which allegedly includes “some sort of empire called The Zaraan, a race not seen in Star Wars before”. “Sarah is described as an athletic 30-something and is a member of a human-like race....

Electronic Arts, Respawn Entertainment, and Lucasfilm just announced Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The game will launch in 2023 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Kal Kestis will return as the protagonist and the game is developed by the same team at Respawn under the leadership of game director Stig Asmussen. This is probably not a massive surprise considering that it was teased back in January, but it’s certainly welcome....

This November’s Limited Edition Star Wars PS4 console bundles will include download codes for classic Star Wars titles Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, Star Wars: Jedi StarFighter and Star Wars: Racer Revenge. Sony has now confirmed that these titles will be available to purchase separately from the PlayStation Store. “You’ll be able to buy the four games separately on PS Store,” Sony confirmed on the US PlayStation Blog. “They’ll have Trophy support, too....
