Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One is coming to PS4 later this month, but the Xbox One version has been cancelled. Frogwares, the Ukrainian developer behind the game, shared a statement stating that the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game were held back to improve optimisation. Sega has announced that Shining Resonance Refrain will be launching in the US and UK on July 10 for PlayStation 4, PC, Switch, and Xbox One. The Japanese role-playing game was originally released on PlayStation 3 back in 2014, and will make the jump to modern consoles with a bunch of extra features. Sony is giving players the opportunity to try out the online multiplayer portion of its PlayStation Plus subscription service for free this weekend, starting on Saturday, 10th December. That means anyone can put PlayStation 4 and 5’s online multiplayer through its paces - teaming up with friends, strangers, or other non-specific entities across all multiplayer-supporting games - between 10th-11th December without needing to cough up the usual fee. The requirements to particpate are fairly obvious: players will need to register a PSN account, will need an active internet connection, and will need access to a game that supports online play....

During today’s Sony State of Play presentation, we got a new look at Annapurna Interactive’s upcoming game Stray with a trailer featuring gameplay as well as a release date. Street Fighter 5 will release for PS4 on February 16, Capcom and Sony have announced at Paris Games Week. The fighter’s early 2016 release means the crammed new year schedule is showing no signs of easing. Capcom has also announced that Dhalsim is included in the shipping game’s character roster – as had been rumoured after beta players found reference to the long-limbed brawler in the beta’s game code.
