Slime Rancher 2 is a successor to its earlier installment Slime Rancher that revives all the fun again. The sequel comes with cool new additions including new Slimes, Food, and a new location to explore. Starlight Strand is a new location in Slime Rancher 2 that is home to many resources and Slimes. Like Ember Valley, Starlight Strand also needs to be unlocked before it gets free to explore. Journey to the Starlight Strand need you to defeat a Gordo in the game....

Despite Sony announcing last week it’s shipped more than 7.8 million units worldwide since its launch in November, it looks like it will still be tricky to get your hands on a PlayStation 5 for the rest of the year, if reported comments from Sony’s Chief Financial Officer are accurate. According to sources cited by Bloomberg, the company held a briefing with analysts not long after last week’s financial results, where it apparently told them it was finding it challenging to keep up with demand....

Sony has announced details of its next State of Play broadcast to take place later this week on Thursday, May 9, confirming that new footage from the upcoming MediEvil remake will feature heavily in the ten minute broadcast. Making the announcement on the PlayStation blog, Sony revealed that PlayStation Worldwide Studios will showcase an ’extended look’ at the updated re-imagining of the PS1 classic, as well as teasing a ‘first look’ at a new, as yet unknown title....

Today Atlus released one of its daily trailers of the upcoming JRPG Soul Hackers 2, focusing on the demons that will appear in the game. Today’s reveal is about Makami, that has been around since its debut in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne and also appeared in the recent Shin Megami Tensei V. The trailer also includes the traditional daily horoscope, with Pisces at the top of the fortune ranking and Virgo at the bottom....

This game is a sequel to the famous Splatoon series published by Nintendo. This game was introduced to the players with lots of new features. Apart from this, there are some returning features that the players are already aware of. The Photo Mode feature, which was not available in the beta version of Splatoon 3, is now available after its global release. Spyro Reignited Trilogy will feature new music from renowned musician and composer Stewart Copeland, Activision and Toys for Bob have announced. Having penned the soundtrack for the original 90s platforming trilogy, Copeland, who is probably best known for being a member of The Police alongside dad rocker Sting, has composed a new piece known as Tiger Train for Spyro’s remastered antics. Described as an ‘orchestral-rock journey,’ Tiger Train is an intro piece that plucks familiar elements from original PlayStation trilogy, so it’s sure to appeal to old farts like me who love a good excuse to dabble in some nostalgia....

Recently, players of Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker have experienced incredibly lengthy queue times due to overwhelmed servers. To make up for these queue times, Square Enix allowed players to experience a week’s worth of free game time while it attempted to resolve the issue. This certainly came across as a nice gesture, but unfortunately, the problems with the servers have only grown worse. According to Final Fantasy XIV director and producer Naoki Yoshida, the queue times ended up becoming so bad that Square Enix decided to temporarily stop giving away free trials, and it even halted the sales of Final Fantasy XIV Starter Edition and Complete Edition for now....

Cryptic Studios held a neat little contest where users could submit their ideas of names for some of the Tier 5 starships to be available in Star Trek Online and they’ve just announced the winners. The winners each receive a Digital Deluxe Edition of the game and a poster featuring the ship they named. Strange Adventures, the comic so hotly anticipated that DC is already making a show about it before it comes out, is in for some changes. The book, written by Tom King, with art from Mitch Gerads and Doc Shaner and letters from Clayton Cowles, is being upgraded from a regular DC comic to the company’s prestige mature readers format, Black Label. “As Strange Adventures was coming together, we had to take a step back and look at what made the most sense for the project,” said the project’s editor, Jamie S....

John Wick Hex comes to the PlayStation 4 on May 5, as announced by publisher Good Shepherd Entertainment (via Destructoid). Winner of the Best Strategy Game award at the 2019 Game Critics Awards, John Wick Hex is a turn-based game with a story set before the events of the films. The villain, Hex, kidnaps Winston and Charon of the New York Continental as an act of rebellion against the High Table....

This Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling review endeavors to avoid spoilers, but does broadly touch upon major themes of the movie. Originally premiering on Nickelodeon not long after the network’s The Ren & Stimpy Show began to noticeably decline in quality, Rocko’s Modern Life was another show starring anthropomorphic animals and packed with gross-out sight gags and sly adult humor. It was initially tough to shake the feeling that Nick had cynically picked up a lesser Ren & Stimpy—a rip-off to satiate fans of that sort of thing....

Rockstar Games has confirmed that it plans on tweaking the in-game economy for Red Dead Online, following feedback from users during the beta for the online cowboy-’em-up. The main issue Rockstar wants to address is to ensure that all activities in Red Dead Online are appropriately rewarded, in addition to ironing out any pesky bugs that still linger within its sprawling, Wild West-flavoured setting. ‘Our current areas of focus include the in-game economy, which will require some additional balancing in order to ensure all activities are appropriately rewarding and fun, as well as some persistent bugs that are causing some players to be kicked from sessions,’ said Rockstar....

Rocksteady Studios picked up some big wins at BAFTA this year, picking up the Best Gameplay and Game of the Year awards. The studio is far from done with the Arkham Asylum franchise, working on a sequel to the highly acclaimed Batman game. Studio director, Sefton Hill also thinks about the potential for games that take place within the Batman universe that don’t surround the Dark Knight himself. The Saints Row franchise will be making its second appearance on the Nintendo Switch later this year, as Saints Row 4: Re-Elected is scheduled to release on March 27th. Deep Silver is claiming that the port will include a slew of DLC content — including the Commander-In-Chief Pack and the Presidential Pack — but it will need to do more than just offer up great content in order to be successful....

Souls-inspired RPG Salt and Sanctuary is heading to Nintendo Switch on August 2, developer Ska Studios has announced. Salt and Sanctuary was originally released on PlayStation 4 and PC back in 2016, and has notched up over 800,000 download to date. The game sees players shipwrecked on a mysterious island populated by undead foes, where you’ll fling magic and wield more than 16 different weapon types against the lumbering hordes to stay alive....

Sega has revealed it’ll be delisting the standalone versions of Sonic of Hedgehog 1, 2, 3, and CD from all digital stores on 20th May - just in time, although it doesn’t say as much, for the the arrival of its upcoming retro bundle, Sonic Origins. Currently, standalone copies of Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, 3, and CD can be purchased for between £3-4 a piece on Steam and the Xbox Store, putting their combined value significantly below the £32....

FromSoftware has staple-gunned a March 22, 2019 release date to hack-’n-slash ninja title Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. If that wasn’t enough, the Dark Souls developer also unveiled a rather swanky Collector’s Edition for the game, which includes a copy of Sekiro in a steelbook case, a 7" Shinobi statue, art book, map, digital soundtrack, and replica game coins. Looks great, eh? Pity I’ve blown my budget on Resident Evil 2 and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s pricey special editions already…...
