When Skyrim: Special Edition launched several years ago, it introduced a hiccup to the game’s prolific modding scene on PC. However, vanilla mods would still work with some slight tweaks, which made the update safe-ish for modders. Denuvo DRM included in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has already been cracked, according to a new report. In recent years, Denuvo has been the gold standard in “anti-tamper” technology, also known as DRM. The whole idea is to make it impossible for someone to digitally mess with a product, or at the very least make it extremely difficult. If it can’t be tampered with, then it can’t be cracked, and if it can’t be cracked, then it can’t be packaged up in a DRM-free version that allows it to be pirated....

EA’s catalogue of games are coming back to Steam through EA Access, and new releases like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be released on Valve’s digital distribution platform (via IGN). Twitter user RobotBrush discovered a test application for running Origin games on Steam, which sparked speculation that EA games would be coming back to the platform. By the looks of the application, it would let people run EA games through Steam, but they would still need verify it using the Origin software....

Sales of Street Fighter V appear to have stalled quite dramatically, with only an extra 100,000 units shipped/sold in the nine months ended December 31, 2016, Capcom has announced. As of March 31, 2016 Street Fighter V had shipped/sold 1.4 million units, a figure way down on the two million target set by the publisher. Sony is working on an AR (Augmented Reality) headset, according to Dutch publication LetsGoDigital. Rumours suggest EA is currently working on a new Iron Man video game. Earlier this year, Jeff Grubb reported that a Black Panther game was in the works with EA.
