The Order of No Quarter was defeated, but Shovel Knight’s adventures hasn’t ended yet. Five years after the original game, developers Yacht Club Games and Nitrome have revealed the next journey for our shovel-wielding hero. In Shovel Knight Dig, the blue warrior will head underground to take on a new nemesis, Drill Knight. And this time, we’re going full 16-bit. While the first game focused on the world above, Shovel Knight Dig takes you down below....

Bokeh Game Studios has released the second part of its Q&A video revealing more about their upcoming horror title, Slitterhead. The video sees the return of CEO Keiichiro Toyama, game director Junya Okura and producer Kazunobu Sato. Some of the subjects covered this time around (helpfully transcribed by Gematsu) include the name of a character from the teaser, Alex. Of course, there’ll be plenty of other characters as well, with the game exploring “multiple angles” of the story....

Norco, a twisted gothic take on Southern America via a point-and-click-adventure, now has a release date for its full version. You’ll be able to venture into its rusted suburbs and swamps from 24th March, publisher Raw Fury announced today. Norco’s Act One demo is also available now via Steam, and progress in it will carry over to the full release. Our Chris Tapsell had a tinker with the game’s demo last summer, where he described it as “tantalising”....

Well here’s something we didn’t expect to see because it’s been announced before and canceled when GSC Game World closed down the first time in 2012. GSC reappeared in 2014 and today they have announced that STALKER 2 is once again being made. GSC launched a website for STALKER 2 and announced it was in development on their corporate website. Don’t get too excited though because the STALKER 2 site has a release date down as 2021....

Star Citizen’s crowdfunding has now exceeded $260 million because nothing in 2019 made sense, so why should 2020 be any different? Twitch streamer Adriana Chechik, who broke her back in two places at TwichCon San Diego, is now out of hospital following a second round of surgery. The incident occurred at a Gladiators-style foam pit stand sponsored by Lenovo, where Chechik jumped into the pit and was left severely injured. Several others were also injured. Chechik has been sharing updates on her recovery on social media, confirming she had a second round of surgery on 14th October - almost a week after the incident....
