SEGA will be bringing another new game into their portfolio from recently formed studio Interior Night. Interior Night was founded in October 2017 by ex-Quantic Dreams developer Caroline Marchal who was lead designer in the hugely successful Heavy Rain. SEGA is refusing to talk about the new game at the moment and all we know is that it’s a brand-new narrative driven IP aimed at a mature audience. In an email to Destructoid, Sega stated that it will unveil an ‘all-new AAA game’ at Gamescom in two weeks time. At the trade fair, Sega also plans to promote the Sega Mega Drive Mini, with all 42 games playable with a ‘giant fully functioning controller.’ A Catherine: Full Body demo with cutscenes will be shown off, and the first chapter of Two Point Hospital will be there ‘for the first time on consoles’....

It’s come to light that several high profile developers, all of whom worked on Borderlands 3, have left Gearbox Software to work on a new independent project together. As first reported by Axios, senior producer Christopher Brock, lead mission designer Keith Schuler, art director Scott Kester, creative director Paul Sage, UX/Game Feel director Chris Strasz and lead character artist Kevin Penrod have all departed as of two weeks ago. Though six are named, seven developers are said to have left in total....
Sonic had to undergo a pretty extensive makeover before his feature-length film hit theaters, but what about his beloved sidekick? Puzzle platformer Snake Pass will launch across Europe for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam and Windows 10 on March 29, developer Sumo Digital has announced. Sonic the Hedgehog is not a bad franchise, regardless of what the series’ discourse has been twisted into. Sonic the Hedgehog 4, the next iteration of the classic franchise, has finally been given release dates for multiple platforms as well as pricing for its first episode. iPhone gamers will have first crack at the game said to return to the roots of the Sonic series on October 7. PlayStation head honcho John Kodera has said that the PlayStation 4 is approaching the final phase of its lifecycle. Speaking during the format holder’s Corporate Strategy Meeting (via Wall Street Journal’s Takashi Mochizuki on Twitter), Kodera noted that while this may negatively impact the fortunes of its games division, revenue from the likes of PlayStation Plus subscriptions will help offset any major decline. Today Atlus released another of the daily trailers of its upcoming JRPG Soul Hackers 2, showing one of its demons. This time around it’s Shiisaa, which appropriately debuted in the original Soul Hackers’ predecessor Devil Summoner. It also appeared in the latest game of the series, Shin Megami Tensei V. I am Bread has been updated to introduce a new Zero-G mode and playable bagels, Bossa Studios has announced. In Zero-G Mode mini rockets have been attached to each corner of the slice of bread, which must be used to propel the bread into the toaster. You’ll also need to avoid floating obstacles. New mode Bagel Race has also been introduced. Its circular shape means there are only two movement points to control....
