Square Enix has trademarked Tactics Ogre: Reborn in Japan, sparking speculation a remaster of the wonderful medieval-themed tactical role-playing game Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together will soon be announced. The trademark, spotted by Twitter’s Renka and shared by the ever-watchful Nibel, is being paired with the Tactics Ogre remaster that appeared on last year’s infamous GeForce Now leak. Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together first launched on the Super Famicom in Japan in 1995....

Earlier this year, Kadokawa Games released the strategy JRPG Relayer on PS5 and PS4. Now, the developer’s successor Dragami Games is bringing the game to PC as “Relayer Advanced.” The game will be released on Steam on October 27, while the GoG release will come a bit later, on November 10. So, what makes Relayed Advanced “advanced” compared to the original game? The battle UI has been refined with smaller character and weapon icons, while themovement and attack range is now displayed as “luminous lines” instead of a grid to improve visibility and allow a smoother experience....

The 16 million player community of Rocket League can now see where it all began with new DLC that introduces two vehicles from Psyonix’s original Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle-Cars. Classic SARPBC cars, Aftershock and Marauder, retain their original styles but have also been given a more modern look. Each vehicle also includes six decals. The new DLC will launch first as part of the Rocket League retail release on June 24 (Europe) and July 5 (North America)....

In a shock to the gaming industry today, Rockstar Games co-founder Dan Houser announced that he would be leaving the company in March of this year. Coming from an SEC filing, the document notes that Houser’s final day with the company will be on March 11, 2020. “After an extended break beginning in the spring of 2019, Dan Houser, Vice President, Creative at Rockstar Games, will be leaving the company,” the statement reads....

You heard right, Spyro the Dragon may very well be receiving the same treatment as last year’s much anticipated remaster, the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy. According to sources familiar with the project, Kotaku reported that publisher Activision and the same development team behind the Crash Bandicoot remaster, Vicarious Visions, are currently working on a Spyro the Dragon Trilogy Remaster. It is believed that the remastered trilogy—which will feature all three original Insomniac games: Spyro the Dragon, Ripto’s Rage (otherwise known as Gateway to Glimmer in other regions), and Year of the Dragon— could be announced as soon as next month, with an expected release during the third quarter of 2018....

It’s only been about two weeks since release, but developer Cold Iron Studios and publisher Focus Entertainment are already rolling out more content for Aliens: Fireteam Elite. The bug-squashing game is receiving both free and paid goods starting with its first season. Aliens: Fireteam Elite – Season 1: Phalanx brings a new class, four more weapons, and a bunch of cosmetics today for free. In addition, there’s the Wey-Yu Armoury Pack that adds more cosmetics and challenge cards — if you got the creds to burn....

Sherlock Holmes Chapter One has been granted one more trailer, because it’s launch week for the detective game. EA has just released a trailer for the upcoming Sims 4 Moschino Stuff Pack. The new pack will be released on August 13 for PC and Mac and September 3 for console players. It was announced on Twitter, accompanied by emojis, and is created in a style we’ve not seen in previous trailers. It seems that the recent rebrand has now officially spread into the promotional content. Platinum Games has announced that space shooter Sol Cresta will launch on December 9 on Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC. The studio made the announcement as part of Japanese indie game festival BitSummit (as per Gematsu). The studio also revealed during the event that the game will be getting a Story Mode DLC entitled the ‘Sol Cresta Dramatic Downloadable Content‘. This pack will include a new voiced story, penned by none other than Viewtiful Joe and Bayonetta director Hideki Kamiya....
