Sonic Mania will now launch this summer, a little later than the previously targeted spring release window, SEGA has revealed. The news comes as SEGA released a new gameplay trailer showcasing Flying Battery Zone in Angel Island, including the return of Eggman’s airship armada last seen in Sonic 3. Sony is reportedly discontinuing PS Plus retail cards from stores ahead of the launch of its revamped subscription service. The cards have been available to top up PS Plus membership for one, three, or 12 months, but as spotted by Polish site Lowcygier.pl they’re no longer available. The move coincides with the launch of Sony’s new subscription service this week, which has multiple price tiers - making the old retail cards somewhat obsolete....

Spacebase Startopia is a management sim game from developer Realmforge Studios and publisher Kalypso Media. It’s based on Startopia, a game that released back in 2001. Although I wasn’t able to play the original Startopia (indeed, I’m not even sure if it ever reached Philippine shores), I gave this new, modern title a try. Warner Bros. and MGM are currently looking at a number of actresses, including Star Wars’ Daisy Ridley, for the role of Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider movie reboot, reports Deadline. EA has announced the schedule of livestreams for its upcoming EA Play event during E3 week in LA, confirming that 30 minutes of footage of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be broadcast worldwide at the event. Confirming the full schedule via the EA Twitter account, the game will be the first title livestreamed after the introduction, followed by Apex Legends, Battlefield V, FIFA, Madden and The Sims 4. The broadcasts will take place from the Hollywood Palladium on June 8 from 5:15pm UK time, and will be streamed on EA’s YouTube and Twitch channels....
