Square Enix has finally fixed a performance issue with Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, two months after its release. As reported back in March, hair and fur textures were tanking the frame rate when played on PC - sometimes as low as 8FPS. Modders have released fixes which make all characters bald in a bid to alleviate the issue. It seems that there is finally some concrete evidence supporting the rumors of an upcoming Batman game developed by WB Games Montreal. Today, photos of what is purported to be artwork from the new untitled Batman game leaked to Twitter, and they showoff designs for the Batcycle. The photos that leaked to Twitter show three different images of the Batcycle. The Batcylce is a tricked out motorcycle ridden by Batman, which is not to be confused with the Batmobile....

It’s been somewhat of a rough and long road for the development team at Naughty Dog as they aim to wrap up work on The Last of Us 2. The game has suffered through multiple delays as well as long periods of silence from the studio. Guerrilla’s upcoming PS4 robo-dino action-RPG Horizon: Zero Dawn has been pushed back to 2017, according to industry insider shinobi602. Shinobi claims to have heard that the game now won’t launch until “early” next year, tweeting that it is “going to look splendid on PS4k”. Sony has yet to announce a delay, with the game still officially on track for release later this year. VideoGamer.com has contacted SCEE for comment. Shinobi has accurately leaked information in the past, however, including the inclusion of a 4-player co-op mode in Assassin’s Creed Unity....

Today Marvelous Entertainment announced the next crossover event coming to the Senran Kagura mobile game Shinobi Master: Senran Kagura New Link. The game will feature characters from the recently aired 4th season of the anime Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Specifically, three characters from the anime will appear, the goddess Hestia, the swordswoman Ais Wallenstein, and the elf Ryu Lion. All three come with their normal outfits and unlockable swimsuit versions, and while protagonist Bell Cranel does not appear in this ladies-only game, he still does indirectly thanks to a dedicated costume for Miyabi....

Phil Spencer took the opportunity while on stage at the game awards to announce Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 as one of the first titles for the next generation console, the Xbox Series X. Although the first game in the series, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, was a critical and commercial success, it is surprising from a narrative perspective to see that a sequel is in the works given how the first game was resolved in its end....

The next game from Yacht Club Games, the developer famous for Shovel Knight, has been revealed: a brand-new project known as Mina The Hollower. In a first for the company, the game has nothing to do with Shovel Knight. Rather, this time players will have the chance to take on the mantle of Mina, an adorable but lethal mouse. Don’t let their cute façade fool you though. Yacht Club has promised players a “bone chilling” experience....

Indie platformer Shovel Knight is getting its own Amiibo toy. Shovel Knight represents the first third party character to get a place on the toy line, and will be available from November 27. Players who purchase the Amiibo will be able to unlock co-op mode in the Wii U version of the game, or challenge stages in the 3DS version, as well as the ability to customise gear across both platforms....
